First of a simple five step process to optimization: free assessment
Optimum Energy (OE) provides a variety of professional services to assist partners and customers in implementing its OE optimization platform. The first step you can take toward finding the right energy optimization solution for your plant is free. Let us evaluate your system and give you a first look at how much energy, water and carbon emissions you could be saving with the OE solution. We’ll also provide a cash flow analysis and budgetary scope of work so you can decide if this is the right investment for you. Simply fill out the initial section of our Site Assessment Form, and an optimization specialist will be assigned to personally assist you through the process.
Design engineering lies at the heart of any OE optimization project
An Engineering Site Analysis (ESA) is a step-by-step process that enables OE engineers to gather and analyze detailed plant configuration and operational information. We use sophisticated software algorithms and modeling techniques to provide you with accurate and quantifiable energy efficiency targets for your central plant. An ESA delivers the technical detail you need to develop and implement the optimization plan best suited to your specific facilities—the detail you need to achieve maximum plant optimization without sacrificing reliability and comfort.
For new systems, OE takes a similar process by conducting a Design Review of your plant design and documentation to identify any scope implications for mechanical, electrical and control upgrades needed to implement the OE optimization solution.
Typically, the ESA process takes from three to six weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the system.
Architecting intelligent energy solutions uniquely suited for your system
Based on the findings from the ESA, a final optimization proposal is architected for you that contains a comprehensive energy appraisal and actionable plan that outlines the technical and business case for optimization. The final proposal includes project deliverables, costs, contract terms and licensing agreements. Once we have finalized the contract, we begin the implementation process.
Phased implementation approach that provides project support from start to finish
Optimum Energy uses a straightforward implementation process that has proven successful on multiple projects. Throughout the final implementation phase, we work closely with your mechanical, electrical and controls contractors to ensure the installation, integration, testing and commissioning we have recommended are consistent with your policies and practices. Once all mechanical, electrical and controls work has been completed and the OE solution is installed and integrated, we conduct intensive testing to ensure proper operation. When testing is completed and the system has been commissioned, we provide training and remain an ongoing part of your Tier 3 support team for the life of the installation.
The key to protecting your efficiency investment for the life of your plant
OptimumMVM is a web-based measurement, verification and management software as a service (SaaS) platform that acts as a continuous feedback loop. It provides detailed real-time and historical performance information that enables operators to quickly detect, diagnose and resolve HVAC system faults as they occur, as well as 24/7 access to efficiency performance metrics critical to benchmarking and maintaining efficient operation year after year. With more than 120 years of HVAC operating data and after evaluating hundreds of systems, Optimum Energy has the expertise to alert, report and assist in reviewing plant operations and resolving efficiency affecting issues to ensure the plant continues to operate as efficiently as possible, further safeguarding operational efficiency.
